I know Thanksgiving is over, but I am still feeling thankful that we have a wonderful place to go when it gets cold and wet in NorCal. And such a place. Not only are we free from the big cost of heating our home but it is so much less expensive here to dine out at one of the many fine restaurants that we are able to do so once or twice a week instead of once or twice a month. Also, in Todos Santos more businesses are receptive to barter arrangements: I can trade menu or t-shirt designs for fish tacos or internet service. Anyway, our hand to mouth existence has lots more variety here especially with the festival season starting to gear up. All that being said. I miss my kids and grandkids and friends like the dickens and wish you could be here. But, alas, I must carry on.
