While we’re waiting for the next comic strip to get done, why don’t we take a look at another project I am working on. I have been assigned the job of designing a label for a local papaya grower. Here are some designs I penciled for his perusal. Waiting to hear if I am on the right track with any of these. I never realized papaya blossoms were so beautiful.
In the last panel we introduce Mia, the little boney bonnie Gail rescued from the mean streets of La Paz a few days ago. She has certainly captured our hearts with her plucky positive attitude (after a couple days of shock and awe). She is already able to pretty much hold her own with the “big” girls and starting to fill out more every day. She has brought out some maternal behavior from Frida, but Lola, the brindle bigfoot tends to get a little rough for our little waif. Aldo, of course, is indifferent. He doesn’t want to form any serious attachments.
